Terms of use
Draft: these terms are being reviewed and may change before launch.
These terms are an agreement between you and Epicsol (Australia), who runs OrthoReady (“we”). By using the site or the course you agree to them. If your company gave you a seat, the team licence also applies.
1. The course
OrthoReady is interactive training about orthopaedic implants: lessons, calculators and cases. It is educational material only, not regulatory, legal or clinical advice. Always follow your company’s procedures, the instructions for use of the products you work with, and the current standards. We review and update the content, but standards and regulations change, so check anything you rely on.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code or link. Keep your email account secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you.
- An account is for one person. Don’t share it, or the course, with others.
- Units 1 and 2 are free and need no account.
3. Buying the full course
- The price is shown before you pay, in US dollars; tax for your country is added at checkout. Prices depend on the country of your card, and the launch offer is a reduced price for a limited time.
- You pay once. There is no subscription. Your access doesn’t expire.
- Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Managed Payments, which acts as the seller of record for your purchase and handles tax. We never see your card details.
- You can ask for a refund under our refund policy.
4. Referrals
- If you bought the full course yourself, you get a link to share. Someone who buys the full course for themselves through it pays 20% less.
- For each such purchase, 20% of what they paid is returned to the card you paid with, as a partial refund of your own purchase, the day after their 14-day refund window. Nothing is returned if they are refunded. In total, you can get back up to the price you paid.
- Links are for sharing with people you know. Buying through your own link, or sharing it through paid ads or spam, isn’t allowed, and we may cancel rewards earned that way.
5. Using the course fairly
The course is for your own learning. You may not copy, record, download, resell, share or publish it or any part of it (including the cases, images and text), or use automated tools to extract it. Paid pages carry a faint watermark with your email address. We may suspend an account that shares access or breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why.
6. Certificates
When you finish every unit and its case you can download a certificate of completion. It shows that you completed the OrthoReady course; it is not a professional qualification, licence or accreditation.
7. Seats from your company
If you joined through a team invite, your company pays for your seat and its manager can see your progress and certificate. Access through the seat ends when your company removes you or its licence ends. A course you bought yourself is separate and stays yours. Teams can have up to 50 seats by card, or more by invoice.
8. Our content
The course, its text, images, cases and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it, nothing more.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep OrthoReady available and correct, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, update or replace parts of the course. If we ever stop offering it, we’ll tell you in advance by email.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of the course, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we’ll email you before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the protections of the consumer law where you live.
